This blog is aimed at the Oracle ADF developer community. ADF is a framework to develop enterprise applications. It stands for Application Development Framework and is available via JDeveloper on Oracle Technology Network (OTN). I feel ADF has a lot to offer to the Java Developer Community as it is a robust framework to develop enterprise level applications in an easy declarative manner based on open standards.
The latest version is ADF 11g which is also the basis for Oracle's next gen killer applications aka Fusion applications. This release is available in its preview edition. Its predecessor ADF 10g is a proven robust robust version on which many applications have been successfully deployed around the world.
I will mostly be using ADF 10g to showcase certain applications that I have built in my day to day projects, certain workarounds to build sleeker applications. I hope this blog will serve many ADF developers in the future. Feel free to comment on the contents. I would love to receive any comments or suggestions. Can't wait to post my first blog!!!
